Dr. Dittman is originally from Karns City and graduated with a degree in biochemistry from Duquesne University. He received his doctorate of optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia.  During his schooling he received numerous awards and honors for his work in pediatrics and treatment of ocular disease. Prior to moving to Butler, Dr. Dittman practiced in Parkersburg, West Virginia at a large six doctor facility.  He also saw patients at The Surgery and Laser Center in Seneca, PA for Community Eye Care a surgical -medical eye group from September 2004 until April 2009.  Dr Dittman is an active member of the Western Pennsylvania Optometric Society, Pennsylvania Optometric Association,  American Optometric Association, Butler Lions Club, Butler County Chamber of Commerce, and a board member of the Butler County Blind Association.  Dr. Dittman resides in the Butler area with his wife Kristie and children  Kira, Brianna, and Kyle.
