Our Optometrists

Dr. Dittman

Dr Dittman Dr. Dittman is originally from Karns City and graduated with a degree in biochemistry from Duquesne University. He received his doctorate of optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. During his schooling he received numerous awards and honors for his work in pediatrics and treatment of ocular disease.

Dr Dittman has a special interest in all areas of eye care including medically managing glaucoma, diabetes, and macular degeneration. He also is very passionate about providing myopia control for children and also is one of the few optometrists in Western PA who fit scleral contact lenses for eye diseases such as keratoconus.
Dr. Dittman is an active member of the Western Pennsylvania Optometric Society, Pennsylvania Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, North Pittsburgh Regional Chamber of Commerce and Butler Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Dittman resides in the Butler area with his wife Kristie and children Kira, Brianna, and Kyle

Dr. Nock

Dr Nock

Dr. Nock Is originally from the Cranberry Township area and graduated from Seneca Valley High School. He earned his Bachelors of Arts degree from Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, PA where he majored in Biology.

He later received his Doctorate of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA where he graduated with High Honors. He was a graduating member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honorary Society and was awarded Honors in Clinical Excellence from Pediatric Vision Care Services.

Upon completion of his doctorate, Dr. Nock chose to return home to Butler County. He currently resides in the area with his wife Courtney and children Cameron, Layton, and Teigan.

Dr. Brandtonies

Dr Brandtonies Dr. Taylor Brandtonies is originally from Canonsburg, PA. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. She then attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where she graduated High Honors with her Doctorate of Optometry degree in 2017.

During her time at The Pennsylvania College of Optometry, she was a member of the American Optometric Student Association and Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society. She was also awarded honors in her Low Vision and Ocular Disease clinical externships. Dr. Brandtonies enjoys all areas of eye care, and also fits scleral specialty contact lenses.
After graduation, Dr. Brandtonies was eager to return to Western Pennsylvania, and currently lives in Pittsburgh.
